John the Beggar
The first things you notice about John the Beggar are his ragged appearance, his shuffling gait, his eyepatch, and the long scar across his face, gained during the war. If you were to look a bit closer you might also notice a multitude of sharp, pointy things distributed about his person. In social interaction John veers from convivial eccentricity to a deranged intensity bordering on madness. He’s obviously a drifter, haunted by demons from his past. It is in battle that John finds freedom, turning into a fury of pent-up energy – a whirlwhind of steel with the occasional mad cackle and bad pun.
